Our Mission is to assist the community in which we serve.
We meet the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Church for a bit of a chat.
We do this in a variety of ways: provide catering for functions in our Church; assist families and those mourning with refreshments following funeral services and share with them in their grief; support and sponsor young people, and contribute to the Police “Street Smart” literature given out in schools.
Our Mission is funded by supplying knitting, crocheting, sewing and craft. But the piece de resistance is our popular jams, pickles, relishes and sometimes lemon butter — all from tried and true recipes. These goods are regularly sold from Street Stalls in the Town Square and from the Church.
